**Theatre Technician/Clinical Assistant**

**About the role**
- Clinical support of the cardiology department and exciting opportunity to be part of dynamic team.
- Work amongst state-of-the-art Cardiac catheter labs, Cardiology Day ward and diagnostic service
- Be part of a multidisciplinary team providing excellent supportive care to inpatients and outpatients needing a cardiology procedure
- Provide excellent clinical support in equipment maintenance and preparation as well as playing a pivotal role in maintaining a safe work environment.

**About you**:

- Motivated, enthusiastic and an active team player with a track record of reliability
- Have a Certificate 3 in Health Services
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and effective communication at all levels with staff, patients and families
- Previous experience in an acute health setting and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

**About us**

The Cardiology Department at the Royal Melbourne includes the Coronary Care Unit, Cardiology Day Ward, non-invasive and diagnostics service and new state of the art cardiac catheter laboratories. We are in a growth stage with the opening of the new cardiac catheter laboratory in August 2023. The RMH is part of the Parkville precinct and co-located with the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter Mac Cullum cancer centre.
