- About you_
If you are ready to take your next career step with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future, then we are seeking your experience in the following;- Qualified Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation trade OR degree qualified Mechanical, Electrical or Controls Engineer with industry experience.
Some skills you may have:
- Good technical knowledge of rotating equipment and/or PLC systems.- Strong customer focus and customer service skills.- Good communication skills with the ability to write clear technical reports.- Computer literate (MS Office experience).- Gas Turbine, Power Generation and Gas Compression experience.- Oil and Gas industry experience.- Allen Bradley PLC experience
- What you’ll be doing_
You’ll be the technical focal point at customer sites across the East Coast of Australia, NZ & PNG.
On site, you may be doing anything from troubleshooting to commissioning projects, service and maintenance inspections to equipment removal and installation of Solar Turbines’ range of turbo-machinery products (Gas Turbines, Compressor Sets, Generator sets).
Of course, you’ll also be responsible for:
- Ensuring maintenance services and installation support adheres to relevant specifications and standards.- Utilising sound judgment when analysing problems, with little to no supervision to solve issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.- Performing preventive/corrective maintenance.- Assisting in a technical manner with customer operations and maintenance crews.- Providing detailed and technical reports to various stakeholders.- Ensuring customer expectations are always met or exceeded.- Complying with Solar Turbines’ and clients’ HSSE policies and procedures.
