Client is seeking someone with an asian or Filipino background who is compassionate dedicated Disability Support Worker. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and care to individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings, including in-home and community.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with clients and their families to provide personal care, complete household tasks, and facilitate leisure activities, ensuring that each individual's physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

To be considered for this role, it is required that you have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Mental Health and supporting clients with an addiction as well as a Certificate 3 or 4 in Disability or Aged Care.

In addition to these qualifications, it is also necessary to have a current police check, manual handling certificate, and Working with Children check. You must also hold a First Aid and CPR Certificate, have completed the NDIS Orientation Module, passed a workers screening check, and possess a double vaccination certificate and COVID-19 infection control certificate. A valid Victorian driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle are also required.

Empower Ability Hub is on the lookout for empathetic, committed Disability Support Workers to become part of our dynamic team. In this vital role, you'll deliver premium care and support to people with disabilities across various environments, including their homes and in the community.

Your duties as a Disability Support Worker will involve close collaboration with clients and their families to assist with personal care, manage household chores, and engage in leisure activities, all while addressing the physical, emotional, and social well-being of each person you support.

Applicants must have at least six months of experience in a similar role and hold either a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Aged Care.

A valid Victorian driver's license, alongside a reliable and insured vehicle, is also necessary.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $39.96 - $73.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
