**JOB TITLE**

Material Planner / Procurement

**INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE**

This is a full-time position reporting into our Supply Chain Lead at our South Windsor, NSW manufacturing plant.

You will work closely with:

- your manager for daily operational and business discussions
- planner and production team for real-time updates

**YOUR RESPONSIBIITIES**
- Develop and execute procurement plans to ensure timely availability of materials while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather material requirements and develop accurate forecasts
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of materials
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to prevent stock-outs or overstock situations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to streamline procurement operations
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the procurement process

**YOUR EXPERIENCE**
- Proven experience in material procurement, preferably within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and best practices
- Knowledge in goods importation requirements are highly advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions
- Proficient in using procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, SAP P80
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
