Assist Support Services is a fast-growing Disability Support Service. We are passionate about the work we do and support clients with all different types of disability both physical and intellectual. We are looking for people across the Mornington Peninsula and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, to join our dynamic and friendly Disability Support team.
Working as part of the Disability support Team provides you with the opportunity to support individuals with all areas of their life including participation in recreational and social activities to assistance with their quality of life.
Shifts vary anywhere from 2 hours to 12 hours in duration. Day and active overnight shifts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience supporting people with behaviours of concern as well as high care needs.
- Clear and effective communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record management
- Initiative and self-motivation
- A positive and professional approach
- Availability to work a variety of shifts; morning, day, afternoon, evening and weekends
- Relevant qualifications are highly desirable, however, someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered.
- Ability to work shifts after 2:30pm
- Willingness to work shifts 2 - 3hours in length.

- Current Certificate for First Aid (HLTAID003) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001)
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia (Australian Passport/Australian Birth Certificate/ Australian Citizenship Certificate or International Passport & Visa)
- A copy of your Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer)
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance prior to your commencement.
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate

**Salary**: $40.46 - $88.00 per hour
