Construction Cleaner

Ongoing role - immediate start, and numerous projects
- Final Builders Clean and Construction Site Cleans
- Projects all over Metro Melbourne

**The Company**

You will be working with a reputable building contractor who are currently running a number of final builders cleans on government and education construction projects in Melbourne. As a result of an increased workload, there is an immediate need for a construction cleaner who is comfortable carrying out a number of cleaning tasks on construction sites.

**Duties**
- Removing stickers on windows, cabinets and worktops
- Washing down and dusting surfaces
- Removing construction debris
- Window cleaning
- Fixing up grout smudges, clearing dust off frames and skirting
- Polishing floor and wall tiles
- Cleaning/polishing kitchen exhaust and extraction units and air con units in new builds
- Polishing and cleaning hand rails, balustrades and cladding
- Vacuuming and power washing internal and external surfaces such as vinyl, epoxy, timber
- Working with a range of cleaning equipment and different cleaning substances
- Cleaning site sheds, crib rooms, staff toilets and site offices
- Graffiti removal on occasion

**Skills And Experience**
- White Card is essential
- Previous experience within construction/industrial cleaning/building restoration/final builders clean is essential
- At least 12 months experience working on construction sites in Australia
- Working knowledge of cleaning substances/chemicals and their interactions on various surfaces
- Experience with power washing/power jetting/pressure washing outdoor surfaces
- Carpet cleaning and dust removal experience
- Previous experience using heavy equipment such as EWP and diesel pressure cleaners
- PPE - hi viz, steel toe cap boots, gloves and hard hat
- Working With Children Check and current police check will be advantageous
- Drivers licence (not essential, but desirable)
- Valid EWP license will be advantageous
- Physically fit
- Reliable and punctual
- Good work ethic - willing to carry out manual labour
- Self-motivated
- Work autonomously and in a team environment
- Pride in their work
