**YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE**
Postdoctoral Researcher - Beavis and Waithman labs
- 12-month Fixed-Term, Full-Time
- 80 hours per fortnight with ADO's
Essential Requirements:
- PhD in relevant quantitative scientific field such as bioinformatics, physics, statistics, computer science or mathematics
- An excellent academic record
- Advanced programming skills in a scripting programming language such as R or Python
- Advanced data analysis, data science or statistical skills in a scientific context
- Ability to design analyses based on scientific questions
- Strong desire to combine different platforms and bioinformatics techniques to address questions in cancer
- Ability to develop novel algorithms or statistical analysis approaches
- An interest in performing cutting edge research using the latest technologies
- Exhibit a high degree of professionalism and respect for others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with transcriptomics, single-cell data or spatial analysis
- Proficiency/experience with specific single cell analysis packages (Seurat/Scanpy)
- Experience with Linux OS
- Publications as lead author or co-author
- Previous experience in working in the field of immunology
- Demonstrated skill in statistical analysis
- Experience collaborating with biologists
