**About our Opportunity**

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst with Human Resources and employee data experience to immerse themselves into a collaborative People and Culture project team. We are looking for demonstratable data analysis across the end-to-end employee lifecycle including a working understanding of payroll data. Your strong analytical skills and people system knowledge will ensure through documentation is available to a variety of stakeholders.

You will be contributing to the project outcome by collaborating with key stakeholders when facilitating workshops, defining requirements, delivering data analysis outcomes and artifacts, developing user stories and acceptance criteria. You will be working in an agile mindset with the ability to break down complex requirements into epics, user stories and tasks.

You will work closely with the Project Stream Lead, People Data Foundations Lead, People System Analysts, Domain Architect, Data Engineers and external Vendors.

**What you will do**
- Create strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Facilitate small workshops to elicit requirements
- Define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Manage sprint goals, story estimation and provide clearly documented outcomes
- Recommend areas for improvement in business processes/systems
- Manage business expectations
- Clearly articulate the user story and acceptance criteria to the Quality Assurance team
- Utilise Jira to manage backlog, sprints, sprint burndown reports, providing project updates

**What we are looking for**
- A bachelor’s degree in business or technology related field
- Experience working across large projects/programs of work
- Integration experience across multiple platforms
- Payroll experience is necessary
- People and Culture experience would be highly regarded
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal relationship building
- Strong skills and experience in Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent planning, organisational, coordination and time management skills.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and drive conversation to outcome clarity.
