**About Your New Role**

Are you a resilient and patient individual who thrives on making the biggest impacts and helping where it counts? We are currently seeking Disability Support Workers to support our valued customers in Carina. You will be actively supporting and creating an environment that promotes communication, continuous improvement, training, and skill development. You will be providing supervision and support to young personal, demonstrating your experience with high complex needs in and outside of residential care. You will be confident in providing 1:1 support and actively connect with customers to inspire partnerships. Our Disability Support Workers create opportunities of support that encourage every individual to realise the possibilities available to them.

**About You**
- You have experience in de-escalation and can confidently implement care plans
- You have extensive experience working with mental health, challenging and complex behaviours (further training provided)
- You are experienced in using Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) strategies in trauma situations
- Experience working with children and adults providing in residential and community access
- Must have flexible availability (Day, Afternoon, Night and Overnight Required)
- Experience working with multi-cultural backgrounds

**What You Need**:
The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain:

- Current Open Driver's Licence
- Full COVID 19 Vaccinations
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Yellow card)
- Working with Children (Blue card)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Certificate IV in Community Service, Youth Work, Social Work, or similar (Desired)
