Bim Manager

GHD’s Tasmanian Digital Delivery group is currently offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **BIM Manager **to be based in Tasmania to support the delivery of a variety of infrastructure and building projects.

This role will play a key function in leading the local development of GHD’s capability in BIM implementation and provides an exceptional opportunity to broaden your horizons and join a strong core team of experienced industry professionals who take a long-term approach to ongoing technical development. **Working with the Team Leader - Digital Delivery, this diverse, flexible position has great opportunity for growth and will see you involved in**:

- Playing a leading role in the ongoing development of BIM across multi-discipline projects
- Leading the development of our local knowledge base related to digital information management in accordance with ISO19650
- Design leadership through overseeing documentation and modelling processes design leads
- Development of a strategic offer and implementation of capture planning around BIM, Model Management and Asset Management that provides a broader service offer to current and future clients
- Mentoring and guiding junior team members

**What would you bring to the team?**
- 10+ year’s experience in a design, drafting or engineering with a BIM focus
- Must have an in-depth working knowledge of current BIM and ISO19650 practices
- Demonstrated experience of BIM implementation at an asset management level is desirable
- Team player, cooperative with other staff with open sharing of information and knowledge
- Ability to distil technical detail and enable a range of stakeholders to participate in digital design enhancement of projects
- Capacity to ensure that design standards are being met through building collaborative relationships with design teams
- Well-developed communication skills to facilitate positive client engagement in relation to BIM initiatives
