**Job Description**:
AECOM is seeking expressions of interest from highly motivated and collaborative tailings, geotechnical, and mine water management practitioners to join our Brisbane-based team to support our growing workload and opportunities both in Australia and abroad.

We are a multidisciplinary global engineering consultancy with a mature, embedded ESG culture that can sustainably solve multifaced, complex water challenges for the mining and resources market sector. We bring global experience to create local, bespoke solutions and endeavour to be the one stop shop ESG consultant of choice for our mining clients.

We aspire to positively influence how tailings, mine water, and mine wastes can be managed via ESG to enable a decarbonised society and shape the mines of the future.

In this role, you will work closely with our Brisbane-based mine water, tailings, and geotechnical leaders. You will be part of a globally respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities whilst providing technical support to a wide range of geotechnical and mine water projects throughout Australia.

As a global company, we work closely with our mine water colleagues across the world, including the USA and South Africa. Such exposure and opportunities for experience outside of Australia are available and encouraged as our global pipeline is extremely strong. We're looking for people who have the passion and drive to be involved with major mine water projects across a range of geographies and technical opportunities who are keen to influence change.

- Relevant professional experience
- Passionate learner who’s not afraid to be flexible and adapt to a dynamic industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Interested in and knowledgeable about mine water, mine waste, and tailings methods and techniques
- An independent and strategic thinker, and self-starter
- Membership with relevant professional organisations and active participation in National or international Mine Water and tailings and/or geotechnical associations
- Demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment and gain the support of others.

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification
