EM Concrete Surfaces is a rapidly growing, leading provider of high-end concrete flooring finishes.

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Polisher with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the polished concrete industry to join our team.

We specialise in delivering exceptional concrete polishing solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Our offering includes Epoxy, Flake, metallic, industrial coatings & floor preparation.

Our workplace culture is supportive and hands-on. You will receive further on-the-job training and mentorship from our Director who has been in the industry for 15 years. We provide our skilled workers with access to fully equipped 4x4 vans, including industry-leading Remote-Controlled Husqvarna Grinders. As an experienced operator, you will have the opportunity to take the van home, complete with a fuel card, and the responsibility of managing 1-2 other employees where required. We provide all the necessary tools, work shirts, and training as part of our onboarding package.

**As a Concrete Polisher, you will be responsible for**:

- Running the job from start to finish, as well as directing junior staff when required.
- Completing projects within time and budget constraints.
- Regularly inspecting and troubleshooting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Reporting any maintenance or repairs needed.
- Preparing and cleaning the work area, ensuring proper setup and organisation of tools and materials.
- Conduct surface grinding, honing, and polishing to achieve desired finishes.
- Following safety protocols and adhering to established guidelines to minimise accidents and promote a safe working environment.
- Liaising with clients, builders, and other trades on-site to ensure clear communication and coordination of jobs.
- Maintaining the appearance of company machinery, vehicles, uniforms, and job sites.
- Operating within company policies, procedures, and guidelines.

**Ideally you will possess the following experience, skills & attitude**:

- 2+ years experience in concrete polishing
- In depth knowledge of concrete polishing techniques, equipment, and materials.
- Able to carry out hyper floor or mechanically polished concrete to an extremely high standard.
- Proficiency in operating concrete grinding, polishing, and finishing equipment.
- Knowledge of different concrete surface treatments and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Confidence in client facing positions with the ability to lead
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to read and understand safety data sheets.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Australian Construction White Card.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
