**About the role**

This is a fantastic opportunity for self-driven and dedicated professionals who are passionate about Library Services. This Librarian (Grade 1) role provides reference services ensuring the delivery of relevant high-quality information to meet the needs of customers from a range of sectors. Enjoy playing a crucial role of being the face of our library services where you can add value to our organisation

The role contributes to the development, responsive delivery and evaluation of library and information services which support and enrich the learning and study of customers. It also contributes to the preparation, deployment and evaluation of high-quality library and information collections and library guides to meet the information needs of all customers.

**About You**

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who have a broad knowledge of library and information services, systems, procedures and current developments.

**You will be required to work 14 hours per week on Tuesdays and Fridays.**

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Degree or post-graduate qualification in library and information studies and be eligible for admission to associate membership of the Australian Library & Information Association.
- Demonstrated knowledge of library and information services, systems, procedures and current developments.
- Demonstrated understanding of information literacy outcomes and ability to develop and deliver training.
- Well-developed information technology skills and demonstrated commitment to the implementation of the use of online resources and communication technologies in an educational environment.
