Salary : $55,000 - $70,000 a year

Mathara Bath Kade (MBK), has been running for over seven years, creating countless mouth watering dishes, a variety of delicious Sri Lankan sweets and more.

Mathara Bath Kade is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Baker to join their team.

**The Role**
As a Baker you will need to possess the following:

- Preparation of pastry and fillings
- Dough mixing
- Kneading, hand moulding and scaling dough
- Monitoring and adjusting oven temperatures determine baking times
- Inspecting quality of products throughout production process.
- Ensuring wastage is minimised and budget of supplies and materials are adhered.
- A work ethic with a focus on continual self-improvement
- Creative drive and a genuine interest in food history and trends

**Successful applicants must have the following**:

- Relevant qualification
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure
- Proactive, energetic and shares a passion for the hospitality industry
- Willingness to constantly learn and be inspired
- Possess effective communication skills
