Warehouse Assistant

Party Hire Group is one of the busiest event companies in Sydney, providing rental for some of the largest events, parties, festivals and functions. We rent a range of equipment including furniture, sound and lighting, staging, props and decorations plus much more.

We are looking for a warehouse store person to help pick and prepare orders of event equipment. The role is 38 hours per week, with view to a permanent full time position if interested.

The job involves helping our warehouse manager pick orders as well as return goods back to their allocated locations. A big part of the role also involves helping the cleaning team prepare orders ready to be dispatched. The role involves picking the orders, helping wipe and clean items, wrapping items in blankets and plastic, helping load and unload equipment into the trucks.

You must be willing to clean equipment for a portion of the day, its essentially a hybrid role split between picking and prepping orders, loading and unloading the equipment for dispatch and helping clean items when required.

We have lots of overtime if you want this, otherwise the standard day is 8am-4pm. We are based at auburn, with train transport 15 minutes walk away.if you don't drive. Role is Monday to Friday.

You must be physically fit and able to carry items, we have all trolleys and things to make it easy, but you still must be physically capable of some manual loading.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
