**Cleaner**:

- Date: 25 Jan 2024- Location: Melbourne, VIC, AU, 3000- Company: VentiaVentia is currently seeking one motivated Cleaner to work at our client's Correctional Facility in Lara. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact and contribute to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for staff, occupants, and visitors.

We have shifts available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30am to 2pm, suitable for work around school hours or for individuals seeking a part-time position.

You will receive comprehensive training on safety protocols and security measures to ensure your well-being and the integrity of the facility. This is initially a casual contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

**Location**:Western Plains Correctional Centre, Lara VIC
**Pay rate**:from $30.09 per hour + penalties and 11% Super
**Shift Times**: Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 08:30 to 14:00

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:
Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility, including offices, reception, workshops, bathrooms, communal areas, and foyers
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, staircases, and surfaces
Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
Bio-cleaning might also be required at times

**Requirements - you must**:
Obtain a CLEAN National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check
Have effective communication and interpersonal skills
Be physically able to undertake manual work including lifting, carrying, and kneeling
