We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Economist to join their team in Melbourne, Sydney or Adelaide.

As a Regulatory Economist, you will work with clients to help them navigate complex regulatory environments, evaluate market trends, and design effective strategies to achieve their business objectives. You will be responsible for conducting research, analysing data, and developing models to support clients' regulatory and business decision-making processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct research and analysis to evaluate market trends and assess the impact of regulatory policies on clients' businesses.
- Develop models to support regulatory and business decision-making processes.
- Prepare and deliver reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate project findings and recommendations to clients.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations to clients on regulatory matters.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Economics, Business, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in regulatory economics, preferably in the energy sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Familiarity with energy industry regulations and policies.
