The Opportunity

To help support our recent project wins and strong pipeline of work we are looking for

a Principal Rail Drafter

with AutoCAD and BIM experience to join KBR. You will work with a talented team of high performing engineers through an exciting growth phase for our business.

As a technical specialist, you will lead the integration of rail drafting services and BIM coordination of other disciples. In addition, you will provide support to junior members of the team.

We place a strong emphasis on collaboration within our local offices and KBR nationally, and as such you will likely work with interstate colleagues on a variety of exciting engineering projects.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar that has experience using AutoCAD and 12D/Open Roads/Civil 3D or Microstation design software to an advanced standard. Some experience with ProjectWise or a keen interest to develop this skill would be highly regarded.

We value a focus on delivery, as well as technical engineering and coordination abilities. Developed design & drafting experience including knowledge and experience of local & Australian standards is also a key requirement for this role and experience working in a Design and Construct, Joint Venture and Alliance environments is highly desirable.
