**Disability Support Workers (ABN Contractor) : Nowra, Worrigee, NSW**

**We are growing and are currently looking for people who can work shifts on weekdays and some weekends.**

Ideally, you will be someone who can work independently with participants in their homes, communities, and SIL Homes. Duties vary from person to person but may include personal care, light cleaning and meal preparation, shopping, driving people to appointments, going to cafes and other outings, and assisting people in developing life skills. Induction training is provided.
- 6 months to 1+ years of experience Working with challenging behaviors
- Good Communication Skills
- Experience in Mental Health
- Strong experience supporting clients in the Community / Social Activities
- Minimum Certificate III (Individual Support) or similar/higher
- Understanding of issues facing people with a disability
- Strong belief in the principles of Person-Centred Approaches
- Ability to support people to achieve their goals
- NSW Driver’s License (or similar) plus own car
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Full COVID Vaccination (with Booster) is Mandatory.
- ABN Number.

**Salary**: $31.00 - $38.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

- Australia (preferred)
