Come join Swinburne University in the dynamic role of Integration Lead where you will be responsible for establishing strong partnerships with stakeholders and colleagues to develop and implement significant improvements for Student Administration, Digital Marketing, Learning, Teaching, Research and Corporate functions.

Utilising your expertise, you will develop and maintain Swinburne’s Service Oriented Architecture supporting the transfer of data and the integration of systems. You will also design and implement standardized and reusable services and integration processes. The role remit is also to assist with 3rd level support as required, analysing complex systems issues and working them through to the successful implementation of a solution. This may be through vendor liaison or programming solutions.

We are seeking an individual who is passionate when it comes to driving a high standard of customer service and working with stakeholders to ensure recognition of, and responsiveness to, the needs of internal and external clients. You will also technically lead and guide the Integration Development team to ensure best practices are utilised across the integration technology footprint of the university regarding integration service and process design and ensure the team follows appropriate integration development standards and processes. A strong Java and Mulesoft (or equivalent) background is essential.

Although predominantly a technical role the Team Lead will also be expected to carry the responsibility for some light management duties such as the prioritization of team activities,, monitoring/assigning 3rd level support tickets, aligning with the Agile squads and their changing workloads and some people management within the team such as performance review and career development of staff.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Relevant experience working on complex projects building Java based apps (including Spring, Hibernate) software solutions and technical integration solutions (ideally using MuleSoft) working from requirements, solution architecture, third party and internal API documentation through the entire SDLC.
- Demonstrable ability to effectively and coherently communicate and establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders and staff at all levels.
- Highly developed analytical skills and significant experience in the preparation, development and deployment of IT systems.
