- Prepare and implement health practitioner compliance monitoring plans to manage risks to public health and safety.
- Gather, verify, analyse, and interpret data to evaluation practitioner compliance, and assess risk to public health and safety, including developing recommendations for further action and drafting health practitioner restrictions to mitigate risk to public health and safety.
- Prepare high quality correspondence, briefing papers, and reports about monitoring and compliance related matters in a timely manner.
- Liaise as appropriate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the sharing of information to support the monitoring process and enhance service delivery.
- Actively engage in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems to support the strategic direction of the monitoring and compliance team and the investigations division.
- Undertake site visits and meet with health practitioners and/or third parties as required to support the monitoring process, verify practitioner compliance, and assess risk to public health and safety.
- Applications will remain current for a period of up to 12 months and may be considered for other vacancies (identical or similar).
- Prior to appointment, current and previous public sector employees are required to disclose any history of serious disciplinary action in accordance with section 71 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
- All employees are required to disclose any interest/s that conflict, may conflict or may be perceived to conflict with the discharge of their duties in accordance with section 182 of the Public Sector Act 2022.
