**About the client**:
Located just 45 minutes from the Perth CBD on the picturesque backdrop of the Darling Scarp. With the Tonkin Highway extending to Mundijong Road as well as a new Byford train station as part of the Metronet project, our Shire is growing at lightning speed.

**About the role & duties involved**:

- Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of literacy and lifelong learning programs
- Assist with development and implementation of community outreach events, library special events and marketing programs
- Delivery of literacy programs at both internal and external venues
- Networking with community groups and schools
- Identify and develop opportunities to implement outreach programs that encourage non-library members to engage with literacy and learning programs
- Support and mentor library staff in the delivery of literacy and learning programs

**To be considered for this role, you will have**:

- Demonstrate your high-level interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with liaising with stakeholders
- Previous experience in a library or similar
