Taekwondo Instructor

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach Taekwondo classes to both children and adults.
- Plan and execute lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Responsible for planning and conducting training session.
- Demonstrating proper technique during class while correcting students who are performing

moves incorrectly.
- Helping students develop self
- discipline, focus, confidence, and other life skills through

participation in taekwondo classes.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
- Assist with the organisation of competition and events.
- Assist with the marketing of Taekwondo classes and programs.

**Skills**:

- Relevant qualifications including black belt rank and competition experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Expert knowledge of Taekwondo (all aspects - kyorugi, poomsae, breaking, hoshinsul with a focus on poomsae, creative poomsae and Taekwonmu)
- Experience teaching beginners through to National/ International competitors
- Have competed in both sparring and poomsae competition
- Strong communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate students
- Should have a solid understanding of physical fitness and conditioning principles to design

safe and effective training programs.
- Must possess strategic thinking and tactical knowledge to analyse opponents, develop

effective game plans, and teach students techniques during competition.
- Genuine passion for Taekwondo

Pay: $70,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
