At C&K Cotton Tree Childcare Centre, we welcome children from 6 weeks of age to 5 years old and provide care and early learning five days a week from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

C&K Cotton Tree has been a fixture in the community for 40 years and originally opened its doors in May 1976. It is a purpose built Childcare Centre with 5 rooms. We have a dining room, a great space where the children sit, talk and eat with the educators. The room is also used for celebrations, workshops and special events.

We invite you to join our Cotton Tree team as a **Trainee Educator**. As a trainee educator, you will assist in the implementation of a quality care and education program for babies and/or young children, in cooperation with other team members.

We are looking for an enthusiastic** Trainee Educator** to join the Centre.

**What we will require from you as a Trainee Educator**:

- Share all duties involved in the care and education of the children with other educators
- Actively participate in staff meetings and training opportunities
- Prepare materials and activities as required
- Contribute to, and actively assist in the delivery of the program planned
- Build meaningful relationships and interactions with children
- Contribute to each child’s C&K learning portfolio
- Must be willing to complete studies towards your qualification to successfully complete within the timeframe
- Ability to commit to and complete a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through the C&K College
- Ability to work as an effective team member
- **Applicants who already hold an Early Childhood Qualification are not eligible for a traineeship.**

**About C&K College**

C&K College of Early Childhood is a Nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO) delivering training to early childhood educators and carers since 1998. Via this traineeship pathway, our aim is to deliver quality education and training by providing work-based mentoring, tailor-made tutorial sessions delivered by experienced trainers and assessors and access to development resources and C&K policies and procedures.
