**The opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a casual, fixed term, Assessor/Inspector to join our Horticulture, Food & Dairy team for around 5 months with a location preference for Gisborne
The role holds true responsibility, encompassing
- Inspecting packhouse processes,
- Checking records and prompting direction and/or actions

Your previous experience of the food industry and blooming knowledge auditing requirements will provide the cornerstone to success as you grow your experience of the horticulture industry.
You will be working with a dedicated team of specialists who provide national auditing and certification services throughout NZ and around the globe; they take great pride in their work with their excellent verbal and written communication skills building strong trusted relationships quickly.
**About you**:
To be successful in this role will require
- Horticulture industry knowledge and experience from education or industry
- The ability to build strong, trusted relationships quickly
- The ability to use hand held technology for reporting
- An eye for detail and a passion for quality

- Be a casual opportunity of around 15 flexible work hours a week
- Have the opportunity to work some time from home
- Take work/life balance into consideration.
- Provide further training and development into future roles with more responsibility
