**About Blue Tongue Adventure**

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a passionate Gardening/Horticulture Expert to lead our innovative program, designed to engage and empower young adults living with disabilities. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a green thumb and a heart for mentorship to channel their expertise into creating a nurturing, inclusive environment. As a Gardening/Horticulture Program Facilitator, you will lead engaging programs where young adults can learn to cultivate plants, care for the environment, and experience the therapeutic benefits of being outdoors.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Designing and leading specialised Gardening/Horticulture programs aimed at inspiring and empowering young people living with disabilities.
- Overseeing the delivery of the Gardening/Horticulture programs to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and engagement.
- Completing all required reporting within the program to the NDIS.
- Foster a positive work ethic and promote teamwork among participants.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Formal Qualification in relevant field.
- Previous experience working with individuals living with disabilities, preferably in a program facilitation or support role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish meaningful connections with program participants.
- Creativity and innovation in program design, with a focus on engaging and empowering young people.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.

**Schedule**:

- This position includes travel to our Toowoomba space, with a vehicle provided.
- Available in permanent part-time or full-time capacity.

**Salary**: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
