**Up to $36.53/hr (depending on experience) + Super + Salary Packaging Benefits + RDOs**:

- **This is a full time permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic Diploma Qualified Educator**

**What you’ll be doing in this role**

As a Diploma Qualified Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support, develop and facilitate learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework

Your work will include:

- Contribute to the development of educational programs which reflect the approved learning framework.
- Developing positive and respectful relationships that support children, their families and community.
- Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.
- Documenting children’s learning through observations and assessments against learning outcomes
- Implement and follow Uniting’s policies and procedures across all aspects of service delivery
- Work in collaboration with members of a team
- Being involved in Intergenerational programs

**Who we’re looking for**
- Diploma in Children Services (essential), with previous experience working at a Diploma Level in an early learning service.
- A work history that demonstrates recording observations, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework.
- Understand the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
- You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.

**About the service**:
**Uniting Summer Hill Children's Centre** philosophy is designed to focus on identity and belonging for all children with a program rich in language, literacy, creative expression, exploration, investigation and children's citizenship. Summer Hill has a beautiful learning environment for children and families. Opening hours are 7.30am to 6.00pm. We have an indoor and outdoor long day care program for children between 3-5 years old. You will be working with a supportive team of experienced Educators.
