**The Role**
An exciting opportunity exists to work in a high profile position as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Division in Human & Decision Sciences. The environment you will be working in is dynamic; requiring you to demonstrate high levels of self-sufficiency, innovation and resourcefulness as you complete your daily tasks. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Team to support and contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing a personalised and timely service to and for the Chief.

Some of the key duties of this role are:

- Diary Management - including scheduling appointments and meetings and prioritising diary requests.
- Inbox Management - ensuring that priority tasks are highlighted to the Chief.
- Tracking of workflows and tasks to ensure they are completed according to priorities and due dates.
- Travel Arrangements - including booking of flights and accommodation and acquittal of expenses.

The Executive Assistant is part of an Executive Administration Team working directly to the Chief whilst also working closely with the Directors and Research Leaders of the division. As the Executive Assistant you are a professional, trusted and critical member of the team who executes task efficiently and accurately. You have an established career as an Executive Assistant or with strong experience in providing support to senior executives. You have the communications skills to assist you to build relationship with people at all levels including senior internal and external stakeholders.

This roles suits someone who is composed under pressure and has a high level of personal integrity and reliability. You are able to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting demands. You have strong time management and organisational skills, are able to work methodically, make decisions, are experienced in creative problem solving and notices the small but important things that others might miss. You are able to deal with challenging situations by maintaining a high level of resilience. As someone who is a team player, you can consolidate pieces of information to ensure that the focus remains on the priorities of the Chief.

Other skills beneficial for this role are strong people skills, good written and verbal communication skills and relationship building skills. You are a keen life-long learner so there is no job too big or too small that you will not tackle to have the opportunity to strengthen your skills or develop new ones.
