A local family owned and run business in East Maitland with outlets in Tamworth and Singleton, has the opportunity for an experienced and motivated Tyre Fitter/Wheel aligner to join their team on a full time basis at East Maitland.

**_About the position_**

As a Tyre Technician, you will be required to carry out the fitting, balancing, repairs and general servicing of tyres and ancillary products as directed and to a standard that enhances the Company, its products and services optimising customer safety and return on investment.

You are also able to identify and rectify faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear by checking and servicing the steering system and suspension and identifying and interpreting tyre and rim regulations and making adjustments to the alignment and conducting post alignment checks, road testing if required.

As a Wheel aligner you will be performing wheel alignments in accordance to OE specifications and diagnosing and rectifying wheel alignment and front end issues

Career progression is on offer for the right applicant with the possibility of an apprenticeship and trade qualifications.

**_The successful applicant will_**:

- Successfully repair customer vehicles focusing on tyre and wheel fitment, wheels, balance and tyre repair.
- Competently fit tyres including run flat & light commercial tyres
- Carry out wheel alignments and front end work
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Sound Communications skills and work well in a team
- Accept and work well in a cheerful, helpful, professional culture
- Be fit and able to carry out manual labour
- Comply with WHS rules, regulations and procedures.
- Be positive and have 'can-do 'attitude
- Be reliable and punctual on a daily basis
- Have polished personal presentation

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
