**Your new company**
Our client is a well renowned underwriting agency with offices across Australia who are highly regarded for their stability and specialist expertise. They are looking to appoint a Commercial Underwriter focused on property and casualty to their growing team in their Melbourne CBD office. This office is home to a friendly team who have a strong track record of success.
**Your new role**
- $75,000 - $95,000 package + bonus
- Annual salary reviews
- Provide commercial underwriting services within assigned underwriting authority
- Quoting and binding new business
- Manage renewal reviews for assigned broker panel
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of property and/or casualty underwriting
- Minimum of two years' experience within general insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships at all levels
- ANZIIF Tier 1 preferred
