The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Dental Officers to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Provide quality treatment in all areas of general dental clinical practice to eligible patients
- Assist in ensuring the clinical dental service provided is financially viable and cost-effective
- Ensure that adequate client records and statistical information is recorded and maintained appropriately
- Render clinical supervision to final year undergraduate dental students

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- AHPRA Registration
- Possession of a Queensland radiography user licence for intra-oral radiography
- Drivers Licence
- Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough) and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time and permanent part time (several positions, hours negotiable, minimum 45.6 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $124 078 - $145 145 per annum or $62.57 - $73.20 per hour

Oral Health Service provides quality clinical dental treatment to eligible patients within the community, via community dental clinics and via mobile services across Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service (GCHHS). The Dentists will provide general dental care to those eligible patients from community dental clinics.
