An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bid Specialist, to join ServiceStream in our Utilities sector based in Epping, VIC.
About the Role
ServiceStream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a full time bid Specialist on a permanent full-time contract to join our team based in Epping, VIC.
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Epping VIC
Reporting Line: Pre-Contracts Manager
**Responsibilities**:
Bid content development
- Source relevant business information from across the business to respond to tender questions and criteria. This includes facts and data, business examples such as case studies and references, supporting documents such as policies, technical details of solution. May include research and engagement with people across the business to find relevant information
- Create bespoke content to respond to customer questions and criteria. Using excellent written communication in the active voice to present compelling responses which articulate the benefits of our offer as they relate to the customers needs
- Identify opportunities for visual content
- Direct bid team members to develop specific content as needed by the tender, ie operational plans
- Engage with commercial and legal team members to provide input to legal departures and pricing responses
Planning and managing progresss
- Assess the level of input required from other contributors
- Where required develop a formal bid plan to assign response sections and set timeframes for delivery to other team members.
- Determine and set critical milestone dates - customer dates, governance requirements
- Assign tasks to Bid Coordinator including document management, formatting expectations, graphics development.
Governance
- Prepare and coordinate the develop of governance documents
- Ensure governance timing and criteria are met
- Ensure documents are approved prior to submission

About you
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in a similar role
- Some exposure to contracting models
- Utilities and power generation sector knowledge
- Preparation of high-quality tender responses
- Successful track record in winning bids
