**Responsibilities**:
**Documentation Support**:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation related to freight shipments.
**Communication and Coordination**:
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, external partners, and carriers.
- Communicate shipment details, updates, and instructions to relevant stakeholders.
**Record Keeping**:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of shipments, tracking information, and delivery confirmations.
- Assist in data entry and management of logistics software.
**Assistance in Problem Resolution**:
- Collaborate with the Freight Administrator to address any logístical challenges or issues that may arise during transportation.
- Provide support in finding timely and effective solutions.
**Scheduling and Coordination**:
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling freight shipments, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Support the negotiation of rates and services with carriers.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous administrative experience, preferably in a logistics or transportation setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with logistics software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
