**Your role**

An opportunity has arisen for a SHE Coordinator to join our team, based at our manufacturing site in Pinkenba, QLD. Reporting to our National Technical Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the systems and processes across all national branches are compliant to regulations, standards, and governing body programs and all things safety, health, and environment.

**Your responsibilities**
- Coordinate the Bituminous Products operations plan across all sites and compliance to IXOM and statutory SHE requirements
- Control site licences and any necessary reporting requirements to external authorities
- Provide training and guidance for site operators and personnel as per BP/Ixom requirements.
- Assist Branch Managers in the updating of operating procedures, risk registers, contractor management and onboarding of new personnel.
- Help ensure all BP work practices and procedures within the SEQMS meet the SH&E standards and all SH&E training and awareness requirements are up to date.
- Planning audits and subsequent activities, as well as accurate reporting on SHE metrics

**Your skills & experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Work, Health and Safety OR/
- Proven experience in a production environment with a focus on quality and safety management
- Prior experience with ISO Framework, specifically ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001(Environmental Management System) & ISO 45001(Occupational Health and Safety Management System)
- Competent with Microsoft programs, SAP and/or Velocity would be highly valued
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills with a natural fit for optimisation and improvement
- Experience and/or exposure to an auditing environment
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to push back when necessary
- Proven ability to juggle competitive time lines and priorities
- Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and work as part of a team
