Sitting within the store’s steering group, you have previous experience in leading leaders and can clearly define expectations, set challenging yet achievable goals and know how to build a team for success. You demonstrate the ability to coach and lead your team to motivate them to achieve their best. Well-developed communication skills, a proven ability to effectively influence as well as immaculate analytical skills is integral to succeeding in this role. For this role you will have previous management experience in a high-volume retail or multi-unit food service industry. You will have proven experience in creating and implementing action plans, setting budgets, meeting and following up on goals. You will be required to work within the store operating hours including

morning, afternoon and late-night shifts, as well as one in four weekends.

**Responsibilities**:
As Hospitality Manager you act as a commercial business partner in store and are accountable for delivering sales and profitability of the function by securing an exceptional customer experience. Your responsibilities will include, however are not limited to:

- Developing, maximising and executing sales, enhancing range grouping and pricing to drive volume according to commercial priorities and implementing range changes in a simple and cost-conscious way.
- Secure a lean, diverse and high performing team through building competence and leadership whilst empowering co-workers to act on their own initiative.
- Creating a platform that drives our “Swedishness” in store to promote an enjoyable, convenient and successful dining experience for our customers.
- Contribute to the overall business success of the store as a member of the steering group.
- Partnering with key areas of the business to make sound business and people decisions in order to optimise business opportunities within the IKEA Food department.
- Motivating and inspiring your co-workers to use a high level of knowledge and expertise to drive and develop sales.
- Ensuring our guests are always in focus, initiating a constant dialogue and taking actions to improve the customer experience.
- Contributing in the creation of the IKEA store business plan and ensuring that national and global strategies are aligned with local priorities.
- Ensuring a relevant IKEA Food offer by combining and driving range presentation, volume and commercial priorities.
- Promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring that routines are known by colleagues and followed in all daily work.
