The role you could play

We are seeking a dedicated Mission Events Co-ordinator based in our Victoria Division You will support Event Directors in planning events, Christian camps, meetings, seminars, webinars and conferences from the initial brief to final activation, on strategy, time and budget. Additionally, you will support the events run by multiple divisions where necessary, whilst supporting other national and local events when required.

Duties
- Liaise with all key stakeholders to plan and design events
- Organise and manage all events details such as venue, delegates and special guests
- Complete necessary risk assessments and obtain relevant insurance documentation
- Collaborate with all relevant internal teams for graphics, IT, finance, tech etc.
- Ensure safe environment for all attendees (Risk Management, WHS, Safety Management)
- Coordinate all registration activities along with data management in accordance with privacy policies
- Support Event Manager and team with Ad-hoc administrative duties
- Evaluate events through debriefs, provide spiritual outcomes of event to mission delivery area and report key learnings back to Event Manager

This is a permanent full time position, based in Mitcham, VIC. Salary and conditions are in accordance with Hay Level 13.
- Tertiary qualifications in Event Management or equivalent experience (desirable)
- Minimum of 2 years experience coordinating events
- Experience in Youth and Children’s Ministry and events
- Demonstrated knowledge of event operations, logistics, venue management, coordinating catering
- An Employee Working with Children's Check
- Capacity to travel and work a flexible schedule when needed to attend events after hours, weekends and holidays
