**The Role**

The role of the Kindergarten Teacher is to take the lead, manage and oversee the daily operation of the learning environment. This includes, encouraging and supporting each child's growth and development, designing and implementing a thought-provoking educational program, building strong partnerships with families, mentor and guide support staff, students and volunteers, all while maintaining a safe environment.

You will be asked to operate the room in a professional manner at all times which meets the requirements of the National Quality Framework, the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011, and the approved learning frameworks.

**Essential Skills and Education**
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
- First Aid Training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010.
- A working knowledge of appropriate curriculum frameworks, National Quality Standards, the Education ad Care Services National Law Act 2010 and the Education and Care National Regulations 2011.
- Demonstrate experience in the education and care of children aged 0 - 5 years with a working knowledge of the developmental needs of children aged 0 - 5 years.
- Well-developed organisation and time management skills.
- Enthusiasm and motivation to teach children

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week

**Salary**: From $70,000.00 per year
