**Fire Curtain Fabricator - Leading Hand**
- Supervision of production staff on the manufacturing floor
- Working with the Production Engineer to ensure manufacturing lead times are achieved as per schedule
- Fabrication & assembly of manufactured products as per dispatch schedules & the work instruction
- Fabrication/assembly of production equipment as required
- Receipt of inventory & delivered items as required
- Maintaining & overseeing an organised, clear & clean manufacturing floor always
- Stock inventory picking for production orders
- Packaging of production orders as required
- Use of a forklift
- Ensure all work instructions are completed within the production timeframe allocated
- Ensure quality control procedures are adhered to at all stages of production, good receipt & dispatch
- Inspection of all production zones prior to staff leaving for the day, ensuring all equipment is cleaned down
- floors are cleared & production tools are stored correctly
- To carry out such additional responsibilities as may be considered necessary by the Management
- To comply with the Company's standing orders and any amendments thereof

The following knowledge, abilities and experience are preferred:
- Previous supervision of manufacturing staff
- Ability to work within a team environment & efficiently communicate requirement to staff
- The ability to communicate as well as implement procedures & instruction as required
- Excellent time management skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Trade qualification suitable for the tasks required of the position
- National Induction for Construction (White Card) (CPCCOHS1001A)
- Driver’s licence (class C)
- Forklift license

**Salary**: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
