**Eligibility**

**Division Responsibilities**

The Regulatory Practice and Support Division is part of the Health Products Regulation

Group. The division is responsible for a number of regulatory functions under the

Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 and specific support services that ensure efficient, best practice

regulatory operations.

**Branch Responsibilities**

The Regulatory Compliance Branch (RCB) undertakes intelligence led, risk-based compliance

and enforcement activities to ensure the import, export, manufacture, supply and

advertising requirements of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989, Therapeutic Goods

Regulations 1990 and the Therapeutic goods Advertising Code (No.2) 2018 are being met.

**Section Responsibilities**

The Compliance Assessment and Monitoring Section (CAMS) is one of 5 sections within the

branch and delivers 3 critical functions including triaging reports of non-compliance received

from the public and industry and monitoring for non-compliance; intelligence activities; and

data analytics and reporting. As one of the three sub teams within CAMS, the data analytics

and reporting team develops and delivers reporting solutions to summarise and analyse

compliance and enforcement data and information from across the Branch to inform

executive and operational decision making and deliver essential reports to support the work

of all teams across the branch. Reports and analysis are prepared on a weekly, quarterly and

yearly basis to support good governance, senate estimates and executive and annual

reporting obligations.***

**Key Responsibilities**

With oversight of the team manager:

- Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the

compliance assurance program and conduct compliance assurance activities as

required.
- Coordinate reporting for quality assurance including Quality Review Reports in

accordance with established process.
- Compile talking points, senate estimates briefs and other executive briefing material

with support from the team manager.
- Monitor and maintain data integrity for compliance registers and compliance case

management systems, including the performance of routine data cleansing activities.
- With support from the senior data analyst, develop and implement new approaches

to reporting including query design and the integration of new data sets.
- Provision of surge support to other teams in the section where this is identified as

operationally necessary.
- Other duties as required.***

**Key Capabilities**
- Strong oral and written communication skills and good attention to detail.
- Experience in delivering high quality reports to support business decision making.
- Sound knowledge of administrative processes and proven abilities in the areas of

administrative and compliance support
- Well-developed time management and prioritisation skills.
- Competent analytical and problem resolution skills.
- An understanding of methods and approaches involved in compliance activities or

investigation and enforcement.
- Experience with reporting and data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense,

or Excel.
- Experience in database administration and management, preferably with SQL or

other data management systems
