- Student Life & Leadership facilitates and provides a range student based programs and activities that foster social interaction, inclusion, promote wellbeing, and encourage student development.
- Student as Staff (SaS) positions seek to directly benefit VU students by providing them with workplace experience in events, recreation, community development and leadership.
- The position is located at our Footscray Park Campus.
**About the role**
- The overall purpose of the Leadership Assistant role is to support the delivery of key components of the Victoria University Student Leadership Program. This includes the LEAD Program, Student Leadership Conference, Student Leadership Awards and Leadership Snacks. _
**About the person**
- Have you attended at least 2 LEAD Program workshops or VU Student Leadership events and are ready to expand your knowledge and pass on what you have learned to other students? Join the Student Life & Leadership team and gain experience in facilitating, public speaking, event planning and more
**Duties**
An example of duties you may perform will include:
- Provide support for Student Leadership programs: LEAD Program, Student Leadership Conference, Student Leadership Awards and Leadership Snacks, including room bookings, preparing event materials, co-facilitating workshops and sourcing suppliers within working budgets.
- Maintain program documentation including action plans, event briefs and run sheets.
