**The Role**:
To provide high-level technical expertise and knowledge in carrying out specialized design and support functions in telecommunications able to plan network installations by reviewing customer designs, manuals, and technical specifications. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a range of Telecommunications and Wireless projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installing, maintaining, repairing and analyzing faults of telecommunication systems such as microwave, radio, in built coverage networks, telemetry, multiplexing, satellite, wireless and other communication systems.
- Arranging and integrating network and telecommunications technology with computer software, hardware, desktops, peripherals, databases and operating systems.
- Developing and compiling test results logs of the details, locations and status of inventories, parts, equipment, and instruments and maintaining the documentation of communication policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, and quality standards.
- Providing technical advice and information, and monitoring the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment and ensuring that consistent work practices are implemented in the field, complying with industry standards and client technical procedures.
- Providing ongoing operational support in designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and resolving of telecommunications network performance malfunctions, defects and faults.
- Ensure that works are conducted safely, timely and with a high degree of quality thus preventing rework and bringing projects within budget.
- Assist in the review of site job safety analysis (JSA’s) and SWMS.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Telecommunication/Wireless field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- you are familiar with vendors’ equipment, such as, Nokia, Ericsson, Ceragon and NEC this will be desirable.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,
prescribed routines, and standard accepted practice.
- flexibility to travel to regional sites, including working at heights and hold a valid and current full driver’s license.
