The Role:
The Compliance Officer works collaboratively with the village operations teams to support them in ensuring our Retirement Villages continue to operate to an industry leading standard. This role will be responsible for:
- Annual village reviews to assess village operations against criteria. Identifying gaps and making recommendations on improvement or efficiencies- Governance and compliance induction training and presenting to new starters- Proactively monitor changes in legislation to ensure village compliance and act as a trusted advisor- Administration including data entry and document management using Enablon and Sharepoint- Assist with creating policies and procedures and communicate changes to village teams- Assist with preparing monthly compliance newsletter to be sent out to villages- Support the regions with arranging compliance training- Assist with the roll out of Village Accreditation working closely with village teams and external providers to coordinate the project

About you:
- Experience in operational management or compliance - preferred- Effortless communication skills and influential skills- Collaborative nature, agile and flexible to work in a team oriented environment- Ability to prioritise, follow processes and have attention to detail- A valid driver’s license and own vehicle is needed to be considered for this role- Willingness to travel interstate periodically
