**The Role**

Our client is a Hydraulic and Civil Consulting firm that was established 9 years ago, in Canberra. They continue to successfully deliver high-quality Hydraulic, Civil and Fire Protection solutions for a range of developments across Australia. They have quickly gained a reputation for quality, commitment and value in the construction industry.

They are seeking a Hydraulic Drafter to join their growing team. You will be strong in AutoCAD and have some experience with Revit. You will receive regular training with Revit and become an integral part of this professional, fast paced office. Applicants from regional and interstate areas are strongly encouraged

A full and thorough understanding of Australian Building Codes, local plumbing and drainage codes and standards and statutory building regulations is essential, as is being able to work autonomously or have the capacity to work well as part of a team with a proven working history on similar projects.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Industry specific qualifications in Engineering
- An understanding of Australian Standards and Codes
- Knowledge of Hot and cold water design, sanitary plumbing and drainage design, gas services and building services
- Practical Australian experience as a Hydraulic Drafter
- Demonstrated experience in AutoCAD Design a MUST
- Demonstrated experience/understanding of basic REVIT design will be beneficial but not essential
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Organised, a multi-tasker, a problem solver
- High attention to detail/ maintain high standards of work
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills
