**About the role**

Rio Tinto will be visiting the beautiful town of Busselton next month conducting Assessment Centres to fill Mobile Plant Operator vacancies across our Pilbara Operations.

As a Mobile Plant Operator, your primary responsibility will be the safe operation of large-scale mining equipment such as haul and water trucks, front end loaders, dozers, graders and excavators. You will be at the helm of cutting-edge technology, with your commitment to safety playing a pivotal role as you embrace the dynamism of an ever-changing work environment.

You’ll be part of a friendly team, supported by your supervisor to grow and achieve your own personal goals as well as the goals of the team. You’ll be on an 8 days on, 6 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster which will give you more time to spend on the things that are important to you and the people in your life. You can commute to site directly from Busselton so you can grow your career while continuing to enjoy the lifestyle you choose.

You’ll stay on site for the duration of your roster with your own room equipped with TV and ensuite, the mess offers extensive menu options to suit most dietary requirements and there a wide range of activities to keep you entertained after your shift such as group gym classes, yoga and swimming pool.

- Experience in the operation of large-scale mining equipment such as
- Hitachi 3600/5600 excavators
- FEL CAT 992/994, Komatsu WA 900/1200
- 18/24 Series CAT Graders
- Letourneau 2350/1850 loaders
- Dozers D10/11
- Electric Haul Trucks
- Water Carts
