Maintenance Strategist

- We are currently seeking interest for a Maintenance Strategist to provide site-based engineering support to our Operations group.
- About the role:

- You will be part of an experienced team of engineers supporting our operations. You'll have the opportunity to be developed and mentored by more senior engineers, as well experience autonomy in your day to day work to the sites you support. In this role, you can expect to:

- Ensure all employees are supervised, trained and competent to fulfil the responsibilities of their role Plan required resourcing to meet business deliverables and work with HR to recruit and
- Lead and motivate employees by setting direction and expectations, managing performance and encouraging continuous improvement and a culture of feedback
- Address employee relations issues including work schedules, secondments, leave, training and payroll issues etc.
- Use performance management and development processes to drive a performance culture and support employee development
- Develop Position Descriptions for direct reports (with guidance from HR) to ensure role clarity
- Ensure employee compliance to legislative requirements, company policies, procedures and management systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Industry experience, preferably within maintenance and reliability engineering, or relevant trade role
- Maintenance strategy development and optimisation
- Solid practical experience with CMM Systems, including SAP PM, JDEdwards, or similar is required
- Understanding of and proficiency in Maintenance Management
- Excellent document management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
