**About the role**

TAFE NSW is looking for individuals with current industry experience and knowledge in Nursing to join our team of teachers in a full time position with location in Kingswood.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About You**

To be considered for this position, you will have demonstrated:

- A qualification at least one qualification level higher than Diploma (or equivalent professional experience)
- Three years relevant post-qualification experience in Acute care as Registered Nurse, at least part of which has been gained over the last 18 months
- Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
- Knowledge and understanding of accreditation requirements of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council
- Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent.
- To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.

**Highly Regarded**
- Bachelor of Nursing or Health Science
