- Hourly Rate: $31.10/h + Penalties
- Corestaff Recruitment is currently seeking for a Fire Assay Assistant to join our client in Malaga, WA (NOR). Reporting to the Supervisor, the roles are responsible for preparing and processing samples for analysis to meet the client requirements.
- The positions will require you to generate accurate and precise analytical results.
- Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Mixing dry chemicals.
- load trays into furnace.
- pouring samples.
- Sample Preparation: sorting, weighing, drying, crushing, splitting and pulverizing.
- Carry out fire assay procedure: i.e. fluxing, fusing and cupelling samples as per written procedures.
- Full compliance to OH&SE Requirements

**Requirements**:
- Experience within the mineral processing industry - Fire Assay or Sample Preparation.
- Ability to carry out labour intensive tasks.
- Ability to pass PEM Medical and Drug Screen.
- Reliable transportation.
