**About the Opportunity**

This role reports to the Planning & Procurement Manager. Due to our continued growth, we seek energetic organized individuals to join us. You will co-ordinate supply & inventory of packaging, and raw materials & as per production schedule and forecast demand.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Coordinate with suppliers to procure raw materials and packaging components by customer orders and relevant work instructions.
- Utilize the MRP system to run regular analyses and generate Purchase Orders promptly to ensure timely fulfillment of production requirements.
- Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for purchased materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Production Planner to align material delivery schedules with the Production Plan.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of raw materials, packaging specifications, and alternative supplier options.
- Address instances of non-conformance by suppliers, coordinating resolutions and corrective actions as necessary upon receiving advice from the Quality Team.
- Manage the process of obtaining credit notes for non-delivery or sub-standard goods, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Solicit quotations from suppliers and explore new sources for packaging or raw materials as needed to meet organizational requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate deliveries to align with inventory targets and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Conduct annual supplier audits for both packaging and raw materials, adhering to SOP guidelines to assess supplier performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.

**Skills and Experience**
- At least 4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in liaising with suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing procurement processes.
- Experience with MRP systems such as SAP Business One software is highly advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
