Using your clinical reasoning skills and clinical expertise to support our veterans who have sustained an injury, illness, or trauma. A truly rewarding experience, serving our Heroes who have served us and our country.
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This may include ADL’s, functional capacity evaluations, worksite, and ergonomic assessments;
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the client, medical specialists, insurers and other treatment providers to achieve a common goal
- Working with your client, identify barriers and strategies to overcome these;
- Maintain Case Manager records;
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans for veterans across the Wide Bay Burnett region.

Work location may vary between the Acumen office and customer worksite with some work from home options.

**What will make you successful**:

- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA, AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counselling or Osteopathy
- Clinical reasoning
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Ideally you will have experience working with the DVA or ADF cohort (or similar)
- Occupational Rehabilitation experience is preferred
