**Mosman House Keeper / Cleaner**

This is a part-time role, currently 13 hours per week, over 2 days per week. Additional hours may be offered at peak times.

**Salary**:
Salary will be dependent on skills and experience. Additional hours will be paid and attract penalty rates for approved overtime and weekend work. The salary package includes a pro rata base salary, superannuation. Salary based on $40/hr gross, pro rata plus super. Based on permanent part time.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- 3-5 years’ experience as a domestic Housekeeper/Cleaner.
- Current police check or willing to obtain.
- Drivers licence.
- Experience in similar private service roles and absolute commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in cleaning and caring for fine finishes, antique and fine furniture, silverware, crystal, china, linens, clothing, and delicate fabrics.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Awareness of, and commitment to, maintaining a safe work environment.

**Personal Qualities and requirements**:

- A genuine interest, and willingness, to perform the work required to maintain a fine residence to a very high standard.
- Enjoy practical work and be physically fit, with the ability to lift and bend, and carry out cleaning, laundry and driving.
- A mature positive attitude, self-motivated, organised, versatile, and able to follow direction.
- Discretion and respectful of the owner’s privacy.
- Honest and reliable, with excellent attention to detail in daily duties.
- Flexible, friendly, professional manner with a service and guest-oriented attitude where “nothing is too much trouble”.
- Covid vaccinated

**Duties**:

- All aspects of general household cleaning, dusting, polishing, and tidying.
- Complete laundry management including pressing sheets
- Maintain appropriate household records including petty cash.
- Keep in regular contact with the PA to report on progress and discuss repair/maintenance needs.
- Assist the family with packing for departure and ‘open up’ the residence for the family’s arrival home.
- Making and changing beds, servicing bathrooms and powder room.
- Occasional grocery shopping and food preparation.

**Salary**: $40.00 per hour
